Thank you for doing this. I must admit, I've seen other translations of these. It is interesting (not to mention confusing!!) to me how different one translation will be from the next. For example, the last translation I read had Minekura saying of Ishida that he was "starting to look like Hakkai" to her and that that sort of scared her. How do you suppose they came up with that based on what you read about her seeing him "seriously dubbing Hakkai"? *skritches head*

Ohhh, I might have mistranslated that line. In Japanese it says "tama ni Hakkai to honki de dabbu tte miete..."(たまに八戒と本気でダッブって見えて...) I thought the 'dabbu' meant the actual dubbing session, but it might actually be a more general term, in this case something like Hakkai and Ishida san become one and the same, even though superficially they look different. Like how subbed anime and dubbed anime are both the same visuals, just the sound is different.
...if that makes any sense. （ノД｀；；）

Ah! The JVA cast for Saiyuki are PURE UNADULTERATED LOVE. I swear that I've never loved another seiyuu cast as much as I love them -- especially Hirata-san and Ishida-san. <3
