Unbeknownst to Yugito, fate-as Neji would've put it back in his days pre-Naruto, so to speak-was about to intertwine the lives of two Jinchuriki. It wasn't like it hadn't happened before; look at what had happened between Naruto and Gaara! Surely the Genin would be able to break through the walls around this Shinobi just as easily...

If he wasn't already going through a lot concerning his own tenant, that is!

"Brat sometimes your demeanor is amusing; at other times it's pathetic. What I just heard at that place you call a shop-but what I call rubble-was lower than pathetic!"

"I didn't ask for your opinion! Now shut up; we're already late getting home as it is!"

Yeah-Naruto was quite late in getting home. After his talk with Shizune and lengthy eating of ramen in between, he'd gone to train and lost track of time. Now he had to run down numerous streets with his take-out ramen and avoid oversleeping in the morning

A flash of fright hit her senses and she broke from the squat, standing tall on the fence with narrow eyes that caught the dim light from the sky. Yugito felt the beast within suddenly become hostile to the surroundings. Nekomata was somehow trying to locate the source of it's unease.. The overflowing power - it was.. It was like another monster!

' Dumb woman!!! That power that's approaching..!!! It's.. Too great!! We must retreat!! Run!!!' Bakaneko shrieked in her mind in such a frantic voice that it shook Yugito's nerves and she couldn't seem to get her feet to comprehend with her brain's orders.

'Move, move..' she called mentally but to no avail. All she could feel was that power drawing closer and closer... Sweat collected on her forehead and an aura of purple flames became visible around her. It was faint and more like a threat than an actual prep for attack...

Closer.. Closer..

The Genin suddenly gasped loudly as he felt a huge surge of chakra bubble up from within himself; instantly, Naruto placed his bag of take-out down and bolted down a certain street.

"Oi! What the hell...?!"

Brat...I sense a power that I haven't encountered in quite some time. Just use my power and we'll triumph, like always!"

Naruto felt a shield of orange-red chakra appear around his body and, unbeknownst to him, his eyes changed crimson. Seconds later, the Genin soon found himself face-to-face with...!

"...A girl?! You gotta be kidding me!"

"The Nekomata...another Jinchūriki, like you and the Sand brat Gaara."

There he was.. The blonde... Yugito was confused and absolutely lost upon looking at the boy.

' I certainly see the chakra but.. From this.. ' Yugito started but Nekomata was quick to stop the fire out.

'I know Kyuubi when I feel him. That damn bastard hos more power than he knows what to do with. HA! But he's all sealed up~! What a waste..' Nekomata cursed at the beast and forced Yugito to leap down from the fence to stare at the boy face to face.

"Calm yourself.." Yugito spoke and she shut her eyes, the aura of violent flames soon disappearing. Nekomata did not like to be silenced but to fight against this power would be a win that would bring too much shame.

"I am the host of Nibi... Nekomata.." she introduced herself, knowing it was safe to speak with this boy. She didn't give her name since she was really nothing more than a capsule. He probably understood that...

She had not gotten far at all. She had stumbled upon a string of food shops and her senses directed her to a small store for takoyaki. Her absolute weakness when it came to any sort of food; sea food. The aromas relaxed her and she was drawn into the store, greeted by the workers and given her food upon ordering. Fried octopus! It was as delicious as it sounded... But someone was still not happy.

' I don't like this, Yu. This place is too different from Kumo... It's only because they don't know who we are. Don't forget; they won't accept you. Only I will..' The angered voice spoke, reminding Yugito of her cage over and over but yet.. Being curiously gentle about it - just to lure her in, most likely
