Note to self- worm way into Temari-san and Naruto-san's wedding. Should be...eventful~! Aida thought cheerfully to herself, even as she wrang the water accumulated in her dress due to the multiple cannonballs- her own fault for sitting on the side of the blanket closest to the water, she supposed. Once she was sure all the water was wrung out, she sighed and began undoing buttons. She hadn't really meant to go swimming, especially not considering her bathing suit, but since she was already a bit wet, she might as well do something in the water ( ... )

Of course no one remembered the girl still leaning against the tree...

Yukiji skimmed through the gallery of the pictures she'd took. Man,these were good. The 'cannonball' shot looked beautiful. She grinned. Ah, blackmail materials...

She stored the camera back safely into a summoning scroll, grinning in satisfaction.

Matsuri smiled when Aida offered to play volleyball. She looked back at Yukiji and motioned her to join the others. Truthfully, Matsuri did forget about Yukiji. It was hard to remember most things when Naruto was saying how hot Temari was right in front of Temari's brother. Or when Gaara said how he must be boring, when in fact the whole party was because of him.

Then, Matsuri thought about a bunch of ninjas playing beach volleyball. Hopefully the ball that Matsuri brought would still be usable later on..

Volleyball? He pondered inwardly at the thought of a sport that would allow people to move comfortably wearing hardly anything, proven as such from the skimpy bathing suit Aida had chose for the day out, unsuitable really. He took instead to ignore the offer; he had never really enjoyed playing any type of sport since the last time he had tried was a complete and utter failure. If those damn kids hadn’t have run away it would have turned out different.Shaking his foot free from the sandals he wore, flinging it to the side, he extended his leg dipping a toe in the cooler pool of water at his feet. Perhaps feeling a bit braver in wanted to test the water out for him. Swimming was far different from showering or bathing in general, the pool was more open so the potential for a mist nine-assassin to hide out in the water waiting to pull him down to a watery death was definitely a thought that was stored in the back of his thoughts. He could always count on that paranoia to suck the life out of a good time ( ... )

As for Naruto, he wasn't even sure about playing volleyball himself! Any games the Genin were involved in during his youth were basically himself swinging on a swing-and no one else was near him whatsoever, exactly like the day he had failed to graduate from the Academy for a straight three years:

"Oi, isn't he the kid who...?"

"Mm; that's him. The only one who failed!"

"Serves him right...!"

"Can you imagine of they let someone like him become a Shinobi?!"

"Loser...!"

Naruto closed his eyes tightly and squeezed his now empty bottle of soda until it remained in a crushed position.

"...Why wouldn't things return to the way they were before, brat?! Your ideals of protecting those who are 'precious' to you mean shit to your so-called friends and to these strangers who don't even know you! Not even the Kazekage fully trusts you, and if you attempt to pursue any kind of mating ritual with his sister he'll destroy you! If not him, then that puppet wielding Shinobi! But they won't destroy you...not if you destroy them first.""I ( ... )

"Ne-eeee~!" Aida pouted and frowned, one hand on her hip the other holding the ball. "What's with the sudden emo-silence? You guys should lighten up a little..!" She said and tossed the ball out onto the water before turning to Gaara with a sheepish little smile- it was evident that she wanted something. "Would you... mind bringing up a sand platform to put a net up on?" She asked, pulling one of her long maroon braids over her shoulder and tugging on it nervously. Then, almost as if she'd forgotten, she clapped her hands together and gave a little bow, adding in: "O-ne-ga-iii~?" A pause, and then she blinked, stood up straight and turned to the others, a sheepish look on her face. "...all of you can water-walk, can't you?"

So with Temari and Naruto on their own, that left Matsuri and Aida to try and convince Gaara and Yukiji to play volleyball. Matsuri nodded, of course they all could water-walk. But trying to convince the other two to play volleyball would most likely need divine intervention.

Matsuri looked over at her teacher, wondering if he was going to comply with Aida's requestion. Really Matsuri was wondering if she should just push him into the water to get his spirits going. But that most likely wasn't the best plan, so she extended out her hand to grab his. "Come on Gaara-sensei." She smiled broadly and tugged lightly to have him move towards the water.

"Matsuri..." He followed sharply, feeling the light tug against his arm. He was actually hoping he was forgotten amongst everything else, even going as far as to ignore the request from Adia. But now he was being pulled to sit by his student... brave girl as he glanced down in a brief moment to note her slender fingers coiled around his wrist, a warm tingle nearly exploded from the contact sending this strange feeling to the very core of his chest. Icy jade eyes widened a fraction, perhaps a hint of fear of the unknown as he stood to his students request in a airy daze.

He paused in his motion, taking a swift scan of the area before lifting his hand, flicking his wrist in a small snap upward to have the whit sand from the beach collect a few centimeters above the calm waters, just enough to hover above without fear of getting it wet and turning to mud as sand shield at his feet had. A moment had passed until the fine grains had formed a nice platform for Aida to continue with he game plan, if this is in fact with her plan was ( ... )

Aida stared in his general direction, lips arranged in a small 'o' of surprise. "A-are you serious?" She asked, looking dumbstruck and tossed the ball out onto the platform, hands automatically flying to her hips. "Shall I teach you? It won't take but a moment, honestly..!" She smiled brightly. "Then we can all play~! After all, it's not fair for just one person to be left out," she said and nodded her head firmly. "So... shall I teach you, Kazekage-sama?"

"...you have been paying attention when Cream flirts~! I'm impressed kiddo!"

"Shut it you! This is just for show..!"

Right, she repeated to herself. Just for show...

If Aida was flirting, Matsuri completely missed it. She smiled fondly at Aida, and nodded at Gaara. Aida could probably explain the rules better than Matsuri could anyway. If Yukiji played then the teams would be even.

Slowly, she unrapped her hand from her teacher's wrist. Matsuri couldn't speak, all she could do was sit there and blush.

The word to take note was...if. Yukiji wasn't exactly willing to play volleyball. In her attire? Heaving a quiet sigh, she took off her ninja clothing(weapons included), and laid both them and her forehead protector on the sand.
In a two-piece, hair loose from her half-ponytail, she shivered at the sudden 'drop' in temperature.

"well." He began slowly, unsure of how to take her offer, most of the children back in the day had run from the young boy screaming in fear for their own lives. But he had spent countless hours on a swing near by watching as the kids had gone on with their daily routine as if Gaara hadn't even been there, he was ignored. But this did not come to say that he had not been paying attention to the rule of the game or what to do exactly, it was more of a.... practice what you've seen, type of thing. But he agreed with a nod to have her at least show him a thing or two to perhaps get a better understanding.

Taking a deep sigh he stepped to the waters calm surface, his bare feet barley feeling the cool liquid trickling against the sole due to the sand that had already recollected in protection. Making his way to where she had asked him to create the platform to use for stabilizing the neat, so he figured.

She'd honestly thought that Kotetsu had been kidding when he'd said she'd find the Kazekage at the lake surrounded by girls. She couldn't quite tell if he was comfortable with his company, as he wore the same blank expression she'd only seen on him, but either way, she had her orders.

She cleared her throat lightly as she stepped closer to the gathering, "Kazekage-sama, Tsunade-sama requests an audience with you, if you've the time to spare."

He turned slightly, casting a glance over his shoulder to where he had heard his title being bellowed across the way. Ah, the Hokage's Assistant, his sister had mentioned the woman to him before, a tad spastic but reliable.

Not thinking too much of, his arms had unfolded over his chest as he made his way in a calming stride, the sandals being hooked around his finger as he passed to place them back on. His swift walking asking him next to the dark haired woman to reach for his gourd still leaned against the tree. And it was as fast as he had fist come, he had left them there without a thought that he just might be leaving behind...friends?

He had left with the Hokage's assistant at his side, now, finally to meet this woman he had heard so much about.

Aida blinked, standing from her crouch and letting her eyes stare after him as he left.

"Un. Be. Lievable... the kid's a eunuch, I swear!" Akaya said, watching him walk away and turning back to Aida, whose shoulders had slumped in defeat. "Eh? What's wrong with you chibi?"

Mission tactic one: failed..! Aida whined and placed her hands on her hips, face dropping toward the ground. Now what should I do...?

Matsuri quickly looked between her teacher and Aida, wondering what had just happened. "B-bye... Gaara-sensei..." Matsuri said to his back.

"Aida-san... now what?" she asked quietly.
