Yes, a nice stretch in her new spot sounded wonderful- or would have if someone WASN'T blocking it. Her facemixed into a scowl as she looked over who'd snuck and stolen where she was going to lay, a familar chakra about them, hm there head was kind of tilted away-ah she'd know that pineapple hair anywhere!
"Oi Shikamaru get up! You're in my spot."
She gave his shoulders a light shake.

"What the hell?" Shikamaru felt himself being viciously shaken ashe opened his eyes. "Nani? You're spot! Listen haka, I've been lying here since I was 5 what makes this your spot?" He said angrily before he realized it was Sakura who was second on his 'Do not get pissed' list. Right up there next to Ino. "Sakura!" He said surprised it was she. "Pfft... mendoukse..." He rubbed his head. "Don't you have to go and train or something..?" He asked in a tiered and annoyed voice. Why'd she have to come here? She was so... troublesome.

Not like they hung out weekly or anything though, so why should she feel guilty for it. She honestly didn't, she just wanted her spot back. "I've been coming here for eight days, same spot, a you weren't anywhere around. It's like that saying of 'finders keepers." She kind of nodded to herself to further prove how right her words were, then just shook her head feeling more exhuasted.
"Just move and go find a nice grassy spot or something. I can't stand here all day."

Shikamaru plopped down non caring, "Sure you can. And why do I have to move? Girls are the one who listens to the men..." He said looking away from her. He could care less about what she thought. She was just a girl.

Shikamaru sighed as Naruto sat down also not leaving Shikamaru to much room for himself.
"I just felt a rain drop Shikamaru."
Shikamaru rolled his eyes, "You're a terrible liar. Dirt shows well on pink." He said with a sly smirk then to Naruto, "So besides training what have you been up to Naruto?" He asked interested only slightly but in need of something to talk about. He was bored again... wanted to sleep but... he was sure if he went home his mother would only scold him.

Shikamaru smirked and shook his head slightly, typical Naruto. He hadn't been one for a social life, neither had he actually. He just got a lot of bullshit missions that have no particular importance. He didn't mind them of course since they were all easy, but even the lazy and uninterested Chuunin needed some sort of excitment in his life. "Sooo, basically nothing then?" He wasn't berating him, merley stating.

He watched as Naruto pulled her in, he'd been talking to Sakura, but trust him to be the ever dense one. Shrugging walking inside after them he closed the door locking it, his mother always nagged him when he forgot. He turned around while he reached behind his head taking out the small band that held out his hair feeling a snag...
"You better get a towel before you catch a cold, both of you..."
Shikamaru continuing to pull at the band watched as she held out the vest to him.
"...and thanks you probably need this back."Shikamaru took the vest with his free hand as there was a small snap and an 'ow' from Shikamaru as the band came free letting his wet hair fall to his shoulders ( ... )

Never one to let things get boring (by his definition, of course), he started talking as he stepped close enough that he was almost clipping Shikamaru's heels. "Ne, its been a while since Ive been to your house--I think we came here one of the times we skipped school and it started raining.. do I only get rights to come over when its raining? Thats kinda sucky."

Shikamaru shrugged with a smirk, "Sorry? Didn't think you'd cared to come over with my troublesome mother since she used to yell at you all the time... being some kind of bad influence." He laughed a little at the rememberance of it. "It was fun though..." He said as he reached his room opening the door, "Well, pick out what you wanna wear I guess, we're about the same size now I think..."

All of this processed in a manner of seconds- though to her deeply hidden Inner maybe in her mind the thought had lasted more then ten minutes and luckily Naruto had let go of her and not gone all creepy perverted on her. She started to roll her eyes when Shikamaru spoke but suddenly irked at his statement about men and women- she didn't need some guy taking care of her damnit! She was not weak ( ... )
