Who: Zaku, Karin, and a bunch of random people 8D
When: Wednesday afternoon to Wednesday night
What: Zaku, alone and nearly dead, follows the lead of Shige, the creature who has been appearing to him for a few weeks now. After running away from home after the fight against Kidoumaru and Sai two days earlier... and accidentally injuring Karin, Zaku's pride and soul have been broken as he wanders to find his own final resting place. His stress has taken him out to a more wooden area south of Tokyo in order to let himself "vanish" from the rest of the world. After losing consciousness from lack of food and water, Zaku collapses on a beach where he is eventually found by Karin, who had found her way there by signs and chance observations. Once she finds Zaku, she is able to get help and an ambulance so Zaku can be treated at the hospital.
Where: Hayama coast and Hayama Hospital, south of Tokyo
Warnings: angst, some bloody/violent graphic images ((we dont have enough of that in KG)), a catfight between moms, lots of reading o_o

A hot sun shone down through the upper levels of a forest, trying to fight its way through to the ground below and the one-armed human soul who resided there, unconscious, breathing labored. Scattered rays of light touched his face, warming it, making up for the lost heat he had suffered already from not eating for three days.
A light, cool breeze shook the branches above, causing the lighting to change on Zaku’s face. The sudden shift from dark to light caught his slowly fading attention, and forced him to weakly open his eyes. It was difficult to see anything… it was painful to open them from being dried out due to dehydration. There were no trees: just oddly shaped blobs of shadow separating him from the lights of Heaven.
The soft grass ticked the skin on his hand and arm, as he tried to move for a reason he did not know. Zaku’s body cried out in pain every time he flinched a muscle, as it was hungry and thirsty, threatening complete failure. He ignored the pains, sitting up as best he could with his pounding headache. Groaning, he wondered where he was, trying to recall everything that had happened.
No, I don’t want to remember… Was all he remembered from his journey out here.
Instinctively, he lifted his right hand up to his head where a lot of the pain was… Right hand…? Zaku pulled it away instantly so he could get a better look, and sure enough, it was there. He turned his hand around, observing all sides of it, then flexed his fingers, bewildered yet oddly excited. It’s exactly how it used to be… Zaku brought up his left hand to accompany his right, just so he could see them together at the same time. He smiled as he looked at them, thinking of how much he missed having a right arm!
Maybe I really have made it to Heaven… Zaku sighed with relief, standing up, feeling ten times better than he had before, feeling sure that he had left the dark world of real life behind. Mind cleared, he admired the forest around him as orange and yellow leaves fell from above. The cool air reminded him of the autumn… not too hot and not too cold, either. The colors around him were vivid and alive, oddly saturated despite the sun hiding behind the canopy of the trees. I am alone here, though he was fine with it.
Suddenly, as he walked, the leaves began to twirl upwards and away in a cyclone of color. Zaku just stood there, enjoying the feel of the wind on his face and the chaotic mass of foliage that surrounded him. He closed his eyes, trying to take it all in, when there was another shift in the environment…
A cold chill struck him, and he immediately opened his eyes. All the leaves were now gone and the ground had become white. All around him, snowflakes started to fall slowly and sparsely at first, but then the fall gradually became thicker and harder to see through. His knees started to shake nervously as he felt shadows of creatures in the surrounding woods, hidden and unseen, laughing at him.
Zaku cringed, wondering what kind of afterlife this was, then like a bolt of lightning, Zaku felt pain strike his right arm. He cried out and fell to the snowy ground, moving his left arm over to his right, only to feel that it wasn’t there at all… just bloody flesh and bone…
After a few moments, he finally gained enough courage to look over to what had become of his arm, and he wanted to throw up after he saw what had become of it. Pieces of flesh were scattered about on the ground all over to his right and the blood was tainted to a deep red. Large, sappy drops of red liquid ran down his left arm as he held his and up to the bloody stump on his right side to try and stop the bleeding, but it wasn’t working. The whole right side of his body was soaked in blood as well, creating a terrible stench that refused to leave his nostrils.
As Zaku started to become light-headed he took a final glance out to the field of flesh and recognized one of his fingers… just lying there… motionless. Zaku’s eyes started to tear up as he could hear the laughter all around him, but he dare not look up to his enemies’ faces… he didn’t want to see…
Zaku finally collapsed in the snow onto his right side, into the bloody snow, splattering onto his face and neck. As he drifted to unconsciousness, a bizarre butterfly fluttered down and landed on the back of his outstretched left hand. This wasn’t part of the memory… Though it was familiar to him… what was it there for?
Zaku closed his eyes slowly as he watched he butterfly sit and slowly move its wings up and down…
