Alright, so, Kimiko had her first vet visit yesterday. Juu took her, got her microchipped, checked out, etc.

She has tapeworms, roundworms, and giardia. She is now on a dewormer and some antibiotics. I thought about using a natural remedy that was suggested... but I just need this shit gone. We've got cats in the house. I'll be a giant hippy about ( Read more... )

You should also get her used to wearing shoes if that's going to be a thing. I know some dogs throw a fit over it.

Also, you and Juu and now my official IRL OTP but without the porn. (or with it if you count the ClangClang.)

LOL I wouldn't say you need to go to college for that! I don't really know what kind of person I'd be if I hadn't met Juu. ... Well, no, that's a lie, I know what kind of person I'd be, it just wouldn't be as awesome. So, I mean, I'm not as awesome as you think I am.

I'm eyeing shoes for Kimi right now. Shoes, and a rain coat. It took her a couple days to get used to the collar and harness.

Rainshoes for dogs is TOUGH, lots of them aren't really waterproof. So be choosey. If your house has a lot of tile or slippery steps, maybe also get her some socks.

And once you got her trained for shoes, get her some doggy hightops. Dogs look cute in hightops. (Cute enough that a car pulled over so people could ask if they could take a picture of my dog, so yeah.)
