So recently, my good friend Ann Marie announced that she was considering joining a sorority at the University next year. This girl was in Calculus, AP English, and was even considering Pre-med until recently. In fact, she even LIKES mathematics. Wouldn't you totally join a sorority to like date a hot frat boy? I mean frat boys ONLY date the sorority girls! Who ever said getting drunk and dancing w/ random boys was fucking sick? cough::::bullshit::::cough ummm I love Jill and nobody likes sorority girls.

HAHA Maggie, the sororities by your school are thought of as "whore houses." HAHA that's funny cuz it should just be "slut house." We all know sororities sisters don't charge.

So I read your little "spoof" on sororities and what you think of them... WOW big fucking surprise that you agree with every stereotype that is out there! What I think is "fucking sick" is how you categorize a large group of your peers just because they chose to get involved with a group. I think it is a little scary that you hate us so much I mean did someone in a sorority do something to you that pissed you off? I never knew someone could have such a deep hate for people. Sororities are not a "cult" and greeks do alot more than party with one another and wear their letters. We help our communities through the philanthropies that we have. I agree that you are entitled to your opinion considering this is your journal I just thought you might like to know how ignorant you sounded in this post. I apologize if I piss you off for wearing my letters...but i'm greek and proud of it!

While I'm oh-so grateful for your comment, I think you need a reality check. This livejournal is, like you said, my own opinion. And more importantly than that, it is meant to be a joke. Look at my other entries. I write on Peter Francis Geraci and Where's Waldo. This is obviously not a political message to Congress or the next article in Newsweek. My entries are "spoof"s (your word) and are meant to entertain, not to be taken seriously. If you are so offended by my entry, don't read it. No one is forcing you to. My friends (of which I'm sure you are not) know that I'm kidding. Anyone with half a brain knows I'm doing this for the comedic effect. You need to stop taking yourself, your frat/sorority, and my entries so seriously. I do not hold a "deep hate" for sororities or fraternities. I personally do not agree with the concept behind them or the purpose, but I do not "hate" people who join. My entry was, again, meant only as a joke. Get a grip ( ... )
