So I decided I needed to post again. It's been too long since I wrote out a good rant. And, alas, it is time.

The topic today? Grad students.

If you are in college, have ever attended college, or just know what college is, you know that grad students suck. I'm not one for sweeping generalizations (hahaha, couldn't get that one out without laughing ( Read more... )

All of my Poli Sci TA's who were also grad students were pretty funny--although they were pompous and self-important, they were normal.

TAs do not count in this category. Though they may be grad students, they are usually Ph.D candidates, not the typical Masters candidate that I associate with grad students. So I am referring to those with whom you have class, not the ones leading it.

But I agree, some Ph.D Ta's are fun. Definitely.

oh jill, i really missed your rants.

Sadly, i have yet to encounter grad students at my school. Columbia's weird like that. We have grad programs *gasp!* *shocker!* but they are just kids who can't find jobs in the 'real world'
