I can never find anything either. May be my colorblindness, but it's always been an issue which is inexplicable to others.

This sounds more and more like my fish eye, which was missing for, I kid you not, *months* before I found it on the top shelf of my closet, but not until I moved! I had searched and searched the closet... and spilled many tears over my beloved lens.

humph... i thought my brother did this because he was:
1) an idiot
2) cared less than little for the things i ask him to fetch, do, bring, clean..etc.
3) lazy

you are neither one of these... not an idiot, you normally care a lot about a lot of things, especially your lens and food, and it is not common that you are lazy.
thanks for giving me insight into my brother's world in which i thought being an asshole, careless person lived. Apparently it may not be a sinister cause.
i owe someone an apology for assumptions.
