Truck - Plates

Got the truck registered and the plates, $170, $50 more because I'm vain.

Was complimented on being so well organized, which was nice. However, this will make throwing things out difficult, as a 13 year old photocopy of my Ontario Driver's license turned out to be very useful.

I have a hard time distinguishing between important and unimportant records, resulting in my personal documentation taking up two large fire safes, a small fire safe, five accordion file folders, one expandable file folder and four small boxes. All of it takes up half my truck bed. The entire set, plus a monitor, a box of cat-junk and a small bag of clothes was 'minimal' stuff I kept out of storage.

I would dearly love to go 'paperless', and have been trying to get rid of things. It didn't help that when I visited the old house I found employment records which were asked for with the (aborted) Green Card application. So even more important paper to keep.

I suppose I could have lived without it, but everything went so smooth. I just have to drag around 300 lbs of documentation all the time and things will be excellent. *sigh*
