I've done this before, but it was a while ago. And, hey, why not give Honest Abe another turn in the Oval Office? That might be the dirtiest line to ever appear in a Simpsons episode ( Read more... )

1. Do you like any of the HBO/Showtime teevee series, like The Sopranos, Sex and the City, Six Feet Under, The Wire Deadwood, etc.? What effects have these networks had on broadcast television, and how will history judge these programs?

2. How can I promote Scrabble Night at the library?

3. Who'll get the major-party nominations for President in 2008?

4. Tell me about regret.

5. How do you feel about Michael Jackson?

Yeah, usericons w/breast-feeding in them. Also the sometimes-very-crappy work performed by LJ's all-volunteer abuse team, which seems especially odd after LJ's been bought by a for-profit corporation. And the ad-supported accounts, and LJ Abuse deleting posts which discussed ad-blocking methods, and, for a while, the TOS prohibiting people from using anything which, intentionally or otherwise, prevented the ads from being displayed. Here are a couple decent writeups about the breastfeeding usericon thing. There are also some communities, of course. If you're interested, I suggest Google searches like 'breastfeeding livejournal' or 'usericon breast feeding site:livejournal.com'.

1. Nora excepted, what's the biggest change in your life since I last saw you?

2. Recommend a craft that I could take up.

3. Describe your coworkers.

4. What's the last DVD you bought? CD/record?

5. What's your mailing address? (I've still got that spicy email address.)

Oh, I'm pretty okay. More people are starting to show up for my programs at the library, which is exciting. And I'm visiting R in a few days, which is exciting. And nobody's tried to trick me into buying a car lately, which is a relief.

1. Where are you going to buy this house? Or rent this apartment, for that matter.

2. What's the last book you read and greatly enjoyed?

3. What's up with the anti-smoking stuff at Main?

4. Tell me about forgiveness.

5. Rank LR pizza places from worst to best.

In about six weeks, it'll be Cleveland, but when I visit, it'll be Brooklyn. I'm fervently hoping to visit Ohio sometime this summer, though.
