Well everyone else is bitching about it. :D Though my situation kinda sucks even more. I'd planned on not hitting FWA being I was going to hit FCN (mostly because FCN is closer) though just yesterday now I was told there's a work conflict with my vacation dates for FCN so I can't go to that either! What do you do for work? thats BS that some conflict "just came up" and you cant have the dates you wanted off. *hugs*

I'm a paralegal. And didn't just come up, I'd only put in the vacation day request in Wednesday. Which was still the 2-week notice they usually want but there's this interest arbitration on the Tuesday after FCN so they really do need me around in the days leading up to that. I understand why they denied it, but still made for a cranky fox. :P

oh yea! i knew you were a paralegal because we talked about some case your firm got with a daycare spilling coffee on an infant. my bad. anyway I still think its unfair that you had your time off request in on time and then they deny it. I say quit. a good paralegal can find work almost anywhere. hell I have a friend who just quit her paralegal job here and moved to a small town where she found a job. good luck! *hugs*

All ya'll are a bunch of whiners! You all will go to several cons before the end of the year and you're acting like this was your only opportunity. Someone want to get me a job so I might be able to go to one in the next 5 years? Meh, I'm not mad at you and this is your journal so no big, I just needed to vent because really all you guys are putting such a pessimistic view on this weekend.
