Sorry if my lasts two posts sucked. No more philosophical/personal meanderings of the written kind.

Condolences go out to all the folks who will be returning to that Turkish prison known as high school, or in some cases, those who will be venturing to hell for the very first time. It’s not so bad when you trip out on codeine with an empty stomach

At any rate, spelling bees are indeed worthless. The one I was in, I lost on the word "veterinarian." But the guy who beat me had to spend an entire Saturday at the regional spelling bee. So who really won?

If you're strapped for not-quite-sporting-events to watch on ESPN, watch the World Series of Poker instead. I'm not sure what redeeming qualities it has, but i'll be damned if it doesn't beat watching 8 year old Indian kids faint when they can't remember words.

AHAHAHAHA! I saw that kid faint. He actually got the word right too.

I watched some celebrity poker today, but I just couldn't get into it since I don't play often. But I do enjoy watching people lose large amounts of money, so that's the redeeming quality of it.
