Thanks for the killer game of Crisco Twister…

So here I stand -- ready. Well, almost. I’m surrounded by gifts from people - of people, of materials to help me along my way, and with so many amazing memories.

I think my last two posts summarize everything I can articulate for the time being. Truth be told, I’m not in much of a mood to update either, although I still enjoy attempting to bring ( Read more... )

I'm so excited for you I'm vibrating!!! valkyrjan December 27 2004, 08:49:54 UTC
I'll look forward to reading about your discoveries…of people…places…things…yourself…whenever and wherever your words appear.

Open mind….adventurous spirit…and travel light James! Grab your coat and go---then make one of your first field trips to the finest vintage/used clothing store on the planet (better even than that whole bunch on Haight Street SF put together) where you can suit up---clothes, shoes, accessories--- for any image/identity you choose at cheap/cheaper/cheapest prices….even clothing by the pound! And you're almost guaranteed to make friends while shopping there…great conspiratorial atmosphere...even music.

It's called The Garment District---it's awesome…it's in Cambridge…it's less than 4 blocks from the Kendall/MIT T stop on the Red Line.

Ahhhh....a new life in a new place...so awesome!

Hehehe. I was planning on buying the other half of my wardrobe from online novelty stores, but the Garment District will probably fulfill my need for clever attire…perhaps totally.

It’s a strange state of belief knowing that I have no defense from the barrage of wonders awaiting to be embraced. I think I’m starting to vibrate too. Wowzers!!!

(The radioblogs seem to work for everyone else. I really think it's just me. You should still try it out, but if you give up halfway through, my waste of time will be able to relate to your waste of time ;-;"

And I was under the impression that this was a blander post than usual too! Thanks. ^^")

OOO. Optimism = GOOD during the New Year. Wow. Goodluck with all of that adventure-seeking! (+ Any leftover optimism would be greatly appreciated - I think that's just what I need right now.) :D

Optimism IS great for the New Year, especially when you start a new year everyday.

PS: Your latest sketches are so incredible. This might have crossed your mind before, and you may have hated the thought of it but, perhaps you should design album covers when you have free time. I’m sure there are plenty of local & regional (even national) bands in California that would love to have an artist like you work on something with them. There’s no reason to keep it to yourself any longer, it’s time the world got acquainted with you. BE OPTMISITIC - like my favorite Radiohead song. =)

There’s beauty in the breakdown… koolaidhangover December 31 2004, 01:50:50 UTC
I’ve come to the understanding that everything a person experiences (situations, problems, and the accompanying emotions) are drawn to you with the idea that you have the solution to the equation. They help you refocus what’s important to you - the things that make you feel happiest when you wake up - so that you are able to recognize them in the present because it’ll always be a part of your past. That’s essentially what my LIFE essay was about, and I think it applies to EVERYTHING, not just the 9 days we spent out in the middle of nowhere ( ... )
