I know you’re a big fan of them! LYKE OMG!!! I got to talk to Jason, Kenny, and Spencer, but not Stu. They’re the nicest dudes and they put on an AMAZING show. I told Kenny that “Sundays” was one of my favorite songs of all time, and he said they’ll definitely play it next time they’re in Boston. Also, Spencer said they hope to tour in the Fall, so if that’s true, they’ll definitely hit up Orlando AND Boston!!! Just to let you know, they played “Midnight Highway,” “Hopeless Love,” and “Christmas Lights” from the old 2003 record.

I'm thinking of making a community made for open-ended questions/discussion and I consider you a perfect candidate for it.
I want it to be.. about knowledge.
Teaching others and voicing your opinion without getting flamed.
(No arguing unless you state that you want to, though it has to be legitimate and backed up by resources. Not just like, "I DISAGREE SO YOU SUCK!")
Looking at things through different points of views.
Staying updated with world news that you might've missed because some drunk teen decided to be an idiot and got killed in a different country...and takes up every hour of the news.
Things like that.

Awwww. I’m flabbergasted that I’d fit the archetype for your community. The whole reason why I don’t post as much is that I’m tired of analyzing and writing about stuff that will hardly matter in a few months (which is why I try to put a humorous spin on things, but the news isn’t nearly as funny anymore as it is annoying). I haven’t even tried to touch on the whole “drunk teen goes missing in foreign country” fiasco because it frustrates me so much, and I get even more frustrated when I try to sit down to write about it. I really like the idea of a discussion forum with more than two sides, no left or right, no right or wrong, just people interpreting facts that may or not actually be facts. That’s the funny thing about information though, if people tell each other a lie long enough it becomes the truth. I wouldn’t be able to put a lot of time into a community, but I’m open to being a special guest/anti-bullshit advocate

Whoa. Why don’t I get a flashing light that says “new friend entry?” I have to find everything out manually. ;/

Download the latest Semagic client for LJ and you too can have a flashing purple pencil on the bottom of your screen. It even flashes when there's a new comment--which can be annoying since those are also reported in email which--in my case--means a flashing envelope on the screen...so I seem always to be chasing down one sort or "alert" or the other.
