so, i'm about to go to bed. strange that on a friday night i am perfectly content to just sit in my mom's house and drink wine with my mom and alan and make chessy cards and hang out with my family without missing the bar life at all. i just feel so relieved. relieved that i'm here to make money without bills, and relieved that I'm not responsible ( Read more... )

I love spending time with the family. it never feels forced or awkward.
did you move home? are you okay with that?? i was under the impression you were visiting without your partner...hrm.

Yah, my family is pretty awesome. My mom and her husband ar out of town for a few weeks though, so for now it's just my grandmother and I. I am actually from LA, and only lived in Seattle for a few years. I still have a handful of friends in that area, but now I'm about 45 minutes away so I know no one. The whole not having very many friends thing kinda sucks. Oh well, I went out alone Saturday and met a few new friends that I'm supposed to hang out with tonight. We'll see how that goes. It just sucks cause of course I'm only going to meet guys. Once they find out I have a bf, 95% probably won't waste their time. Girls are usually so closed off to other girls out and about. Lame. I told some girl I liked her purse while I was out, and she said thanks politely and that was it. haha. I feel like such a lurky creep ( ... )

until december! i'm here taking care of my grandmother while my mom is away and working to save money. let's hang out!

problem is, i'll be in tacoma for at least a couple more weeks. i'm going to hell's kitchen tonight. the last time i was there was with you in like 2001 to see the start. it makes me feel so old. haha.

that was probably the last time i was at hell's kitchen too. i hope you have an awesome time, although it won't be even close to as awesome as the last time for sure. 8>)

i know it's far away for you but if you're bored...

there's a fun show i'm going to tonight at the nectar lounge in fremont. it starts at 9 i think but i'll probably be there around 10 or so.
