The world must be smiling on me again. Everything is turning out fantabulous. On Wednesday when I went home, I discovered that my father had acquired a new automobile. Which means that his old one is now mine. This is a good thing, because old actually means 2001. I now have a pretty new-looking Saturn. And it tastes good, too. And then

Speaking as someone who works there....the big reason it's not Kosher is that our kitchen isn't Kosher (and we don't have the ability to be Kosher without it being majorly expensive and time consuming). But this is also the only time others have a chance to experience other cultures. We are trying to do the best we can to help our residents, but our resources are limited....

We do get similar arguments about vegetarian/fish entrees on fridays during lent from the Catholics. It's hard to please everyone!
