Not So Valentiney. . .

Well, yesterday was Valentine's Day again. And in accordance to the apperant laws of nature, I am still single. Yay loneliness. If any of you people would like to fix that problem and prove nature wrong, as well as win a Nobel Prize for it, please contact me. Classes are going alright for this semester. Definitely have to agree with Shaye on that one. Cranberries are good. You should like them. All the cool kids do.

The description of your meal was excellent, I am drooling. However, I do agree with not-liking the cranberries (if not talking about that beautiful Irish band), they are weird. I also agree that Starbucks does not make a good mocha. However, did you know that St. Valentine was a martyr and that the red normally associated with the holiday stands for his blood that was shed, so this idea that its some lovey-dovey holiday was invented by Hallmark with all forgotteness of the man or the saint. Therefore, do not feel bad for being single, instead use it as a platform to protest the misconceptions of the holiday. (St. Valentine's story can be used in defense of the day as a celebration of friendship, but definitly not romantic love-- philia not eros.)
