haha, I love how we're opposites when it comes to English class, just like we're opposites on what RHCP songs are the best. Compare English to bio and English is a breath of fresh air. I agree sometimes we do bs things, but I'd rather talk/discuss about good themes that actually mean something in our lives (though love of land, idk there, but the whole being alive thing in Dandelion Wine was awesome), while bio is really just mind numbing, and I'd have to say that for AP just not to that great extent as bio is. AP at least you still have all the good social aspects that are looked at. Yeah, some of the books are crappy, but there's always independent, and can u say that Dandelion WIne, Raisin in the SUn, and House on Mango Street were bad books? That you were negatively affected by them? idk, I can't.
Yeah, not to say that you're wrong, but here's a different view.

Idk, but i actually like bio a lot. It might be my favorite class believe it or not. The people are fun and i like the stuff we learn. It just fascinates me of all the complex processes that go on and we take most of it for granted. I'll admit that Mango Street was good and Raisin in the Sun as well because they had themes i liked. dandelion wine was too muddled and though the theme is good, i don't see why it had to presented in such a bad way, at least in my opinion. As for Willa Cather, that did negatively affect me. It took away time from my very important schedule. But bio will always be more interesting than english for me because it's fascinating.

hmm... maybe you should look at a career as a scientist? wait, nvm, a doctor kind of falls into that slot. Bio is fascinating, but idk, the way it's presented makes it boring, idk, I'm just tired of notes I guess.
