HOLY SHIT FRINGE. HOLY SHIT. CAPSLOCK.

ETA: Anyone who hasn't gotten into this show, especially my Lost flist, must do so now. Fringe makes these ridiculously daring stories at the perfect moments. I mean it makes the Jacob mythology seem like childs play.

I was impressed that Peter actually carried an episode mostly. So the Dawson Creeks ending with him listening to music bothered me less. Because holy fucking shit. That. Was. Epic.

And next week? I'm actually giddy to see it. I wonder if Alt Olivia will have a thing for Peter too. Wow. Thats a Fringe triangle. A chick in two different universes.

Overall I loved the episode and I loved the reveal of other!walter, though I honestly suspected it might be him when I saw the man on the bridge. But still, I can't wait for these next eps.

I thought it might be him as well. But I didn't think they would get there this quickly. Or even go this route.

And per the Bald Man League, Peter has to stay with our Walter. And that sketch of Peter making him look like the bringer of doom? Awesome.

I need Fringe icons..

The first season is good set up. Gets you used to how ridiculous the show will get. Then at the S1 finale, it sets up for where the show really takes off. Season 1 is more serialized. Episode by episode. With a quiet overall story.

Stuff you watch in the first season, that you think will go nowhere, suddenly shows up again in a huge way. Its like Lost, but the characters actually fit into the mythology. And the show makes its daring moves at the right time. Which is where Lost failed horribly.

You'll really like season 1. Then season 2 will blow you away. But you definitely have to watch the first season, to appreciate the second seasons big moments.
