What is it like finishing up late conversations with someone you love and knowing they don't feel the same way and lost their connection? I feel like I'm hanging onto a thread that is hovering over despair. Today was the last day of interning for Conservart. I'm sad that I have to go with the project that I spent nearly a year still uncompleted. I've removed 17 feet worth of mold on the back side of the canvas and vaccuumed it. The project ends for me at the 12 feet, working 2 feet a week for the cleaning of the paint layer and removal of the grimy ( Read more... )

I don't like July at all. This month should hurry up. Lots of things have gone wrong. I wish I didn't have to leave my internship in Buffalo, but I don't think I can handle Buffalo. So, I'm out of house and home in Buffalo. Short story is that they found out that I'm living in Ashley's on campus apartment, and since I'm not a student or officially a sublet under their conditions, I had to pack everything up within an hour, before UPD comes in. : \ I was starting to enjoy campus the connection too ( Read more... )

So, the Rush Rees Library didn't have an opening position to accept, but decided t keep my c.v. and cover letter for future openings. Meanwhile, the Paul Messier, LLC, Paper and Photograph Conservation hasn't responded. I applies to Syracuse's Department of Rare Books. Hopefully I'll hear a response soon from them.
