Hello!

I finally comment! Why I didn´t do it sooner?...Simply, because the wait to see the end of this was KILLING ME!
So I did not read your post until, you finally posted the end, my dear evil koori ¬¬

Well reading these last episodes, what I can say...

I went to from depressed, to delight to see the ore-sama self of Kaneko again, find it cute the relationship with his brother Teruaki and having a blood spurt and laughing with the end! I am HAPPY finally those admitted their love!!!

Really...Even as grown-ups they are frustating...But it seems that Tsuchida got even MORE teaser with the years XD.
I really can´t imagined the "married" life of those two.
But I agree with Kaneko, that THERE IS LOT of questions, of how the heck Tsuchida survived...Well, who cares!
As a long that those two ARE FINALLY HAPPY!

Oh, hey!
go with with the idea I had of holding the rest hostage till a comment appears next time huh...I see

Told ya Teruaki wasn't so bad~
Ahaha, yeah. And not even in a cheesey way either, that fit them so PERFECTLY with the ''oh yeah, dogs have known about us being in love with each other for YEARS so just fyi...I love you too.''

Well, judging from other couple material...Tsuchida would likely open up a Kendo practice hall, Kaneko'd be Kaneko. Chaos would ensue sooner or later now that Teruaki would be IN on things and would find Norizane to be an ally about most of the complaints (and likely would be amused by the nostalgic similarity of the siblings)
Whatever it was, it had cost him an arm and many MANY years to recover as the only fact till now had been that he was dragged into the ocean somewhere on the way.

I still wish I'm in the right country to write a fic where Tsuchida and Kaneko became cranky old men in the Heisei era, where Kaneko becomes the terrorizer of young editors anywhere and they have to beg Mayumi for tips on how to get manuscripts out of him and it turns out the tips is to go beg Tsuchida and ask him to activate Kaneko's tsundere mode. Only they have to win at Kendou first.

BTW, I recently read a BL oneshot about a couple who survived WWII and grew old together, and it just kind of strikes me how they never use the word 'love'. You kind of get reminded of how it's a quirk of the age, especially if you're the Manly Type, 'tsuki ga kirei desu ne' and all. So...there's a lot of meaning to the fact that these two say it. I'm aware that saying it happens a lot in the game itself, but that's a Showa Gothic atmosphere in general, it's okay. These two are Showa Stoic, instead, and so it MATTERS when it's said. I think I like that.

And I keep my fingers crossed for it to be the case because I'd read it for the inevitable magical outcome the conclusion would result in.

Oh? Sounds like an interestin read.
Yeah, I'd agree as similar reason is probably why I tend to like such stoic couples. There's a lot more subtle meaning to even the tiniest gestures and when the words are actually said it feels more special?

I can't write Japanese, alas. But imagine. Kaneko would either be completely grouchy 'bah humbug these word processor things, REAL WRITERS write on paper, dammit' or he would be completely in love with it and make completely ridiculous things in Dos 5.0. Pity he wouldn't live until Twitter, he'd be the worst/best Twitter troll ever.

It's a short story in the 'Dame BL' collection featuring stories refused by publishers. Also, if you're interested in WWII-related BL in general, there's an absolutely heartbreaking subplot for it in Kanemochi-kun to Binbou-kun, which I heartily recommend anyway it's ridiculously lovely.

Maybe some mix of both? It's not like anyone could really stop him from just using the thing for entertainment while still using pen&paper for 'work'.

Oh! i actualy had that one-shot on the to-read list so it was interesting to finally read it.
Hmm, I see. I'll have to look into that one if I ever see the raws for it.
