I applied for graduation. It was easy, a couple of emailed forms and you're done. Then I had to say whether I would attend the college's reception and I agonized over this for, well, minutes. I already crossed one stage. Kinda not inclined to do it again. Actual family wouldn't bother to celebrate and the local folks can join me without taking part in the festivities and parking hell on campus.

This does lead me to ask, though: When are you finally and truly done, and when are you going back to Ohio?

I didn't, I was too busy to bother last time. The college one should be smaller and I'll know many of the people... I even like some of them.

May 22 is graduation, so that will be some flavor of done. No firm plans, but the general idea is to reunite with the spouse soon thereafter.
