Big mistake.  Every touron that has reached Sevier County was there.  It was ugly.  And none of them were smiling.  Most were downright grumpy.  I have nver understood why people would pack suitcases, drive hundreds of miles, spend money for food and lodging, only to be unhappy and miserable.  They can stay home, save money, and be miserable.  And

OK I have just googled "touron" --since we don't get many conspicuous tourists I hadn't learned it yet...but why are they descending on your village for Easter? Or Passover? Or Full Moon? What's going on?

I'm not sure it's hit google yet. It's a combination of the words tourist and moron.

They have descended for easter and spring break. I am near Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge. This is a highly Christian area to begin with and they have turned it into a Christian family resort town. Good, clean family fun, which is not a bad thing. But once season hits, they descend like locusts. sorry for the confusion.
