Seriously. Every time I get up from a chair in this place, I shock, or get shocked by something. Oftentimes it is those screws on light switches...or Ryan. It hurts like heck. We have ruined not one, but two guitars for our Guitar Hero X-box game. Tonight it seems like our phone is not working anymore either. Honestly, I'm just waiting for

Oh the laptop shocks are The Worst. When I get up from the couch and walk a couple steps to put the laptop on a table, I shock myself half a dozen times. I hadn't thought about the effect it might have on the laptop though. Yikes! I guess it could hurt the computer!

It definitely could. Ryan actually ruined his first laptop a week or two after he bought it. He zapped it and the screen went dead. Luckily, he was able to take it in and get a new one, but it's still scary.
