Message: I had a really rough day, and just as rough a last two or three months minus the ocassional perks I had. It's also been an emotionally confusing, and something of a frustrating month concerning Tony, one of my OC's, who I've come to be so attached to. If she were real, she'd be very much like a baby sister to me, a niece, or maybe even a daughter, despite the age difference. Nearly a year ago things took a really hard turn for her, when her fiancee began pushing her out. She's had amazing support from everyone... She's since moved on with that help, but I guess that it still makes me really sad to think about...
Recently she's met Zak, one of the many friends that came to show their support. Zak and his best friend, Zenchou, both showed up, made themselves known more or less for Tony (and Meilin)'s sakes, and I just feel so grateful to Liz for opening up to try out these new guys. It's pretty amazing, I mean Zak. Tony can't get over him. "He's really something else...", she says.
I guess I felt compelled to focus on Tony for a few reasons tonight. The most dominant reason is that she came to me when I was feeling the most upset. She's naturally the one I "go to" imagination-wise when I need distraction, but this is the first time she's come to me. The way she did it just seemed to have an instant affect on my mind, as well. The second reason is that: Tonight I made the choice to pull her out of an RPG she'd recently last year joined. I'm really sad to do so, but I'm tired of time and inspiration being a problem. I feel that one of us will be happier this way, though I can't tell which of us at this point in time.
Anyway, the third reason, and the most calming by far: Zak. I was feeling miserable between work and the RP, and I could hear her singing the words: "Take your sweet, sweet time... I will be here when you change your mind. Take your sweet, sweet time... I will be here for you, baby, anytime..." so sweetly in my head. Not long after I heard it I had to put it on, to hear it in full.
After reading the lyrics, I've decided that, while it might be kind of early to do this, I'd like to dedicate this song to Tony, to Zak, and to Ken, both young men being very important people in her life right now, and I can feel those bonds very strongly. I haven't forgotten about Yohji, Yamato (Des' or Stacey's), or Rasu, or Rio, or any of the others who've been there for her as well, but these lyrics hold a special meaning and a scincere depth that pertains to the two relationships.
I'll try to get the song to anyone that would like to hear it. The melody is very soft and sweet, encouraging... gentle. I hope you'll enjoy the meaning of these words, with that said.
