Doesn't XP have a feature that creates a copy/ghost of your harddrive before you install new software/updates that you can restore if something goes horribly wrong?

They have a thing called System Restore, but, to do that you have to have something to restore to. And I don't... Because apparently I didn't have the automated stuff turned on so that it would make those backups automatically.

Cyril spent a long time last night telling me about how system restore is such a good thing... when you have it turned on :) I guess that means when I get my system happy again, he's going to make sure it gets turned on.

We did come up with a good solution though, I'm going to put a second HD in my system and make that the new master. That a way I don't have to worry about backing everything up to reformat.

I've been thinking about putting another HD in there anyways, so this gives me an excuse to do it :)
