Summary: Slightly AU. Same universe as
Fuck and
Shit in which Jin = salary man, Tomohisa = Johnny's. Jin finds himself unsatisfied and when he addresses it, becomes even more unpleased. So he tries to fix it... Kinda.
Author's Note: This is the last planned fic of this universe. But honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if I wrote more of this world. This is LONG which surprises me because I don't think I've ever written a fic with that many words. @.@ But really, I tried hard to make Yamapi not as OOC according to this canon, but I might've failed towards the end. I had to rewrite that scene so many times. ~_~;; Anyway, enjoy. And remember, with Jin, think Anego. *grins*
Routines were good. Routines were reliable. Routines were safe. Except when the routine was waking up in the morning, getting dressed, going to work, coming home, having to wake up his drunk roommate, have hard, mainly angry sex for some time, then go to bed. Rinse and repeat. Rinse and repeat. This routine was nowhere near the level of safe that Akanishi Jin was used to.
It wasn't as though Jin wasn't satisfied by the sex. The opposite was true for sure, but he always noticed something was sorely lacking in the whole thing. Throughout every one of their bouts (as Tomohisa frequently and annoyingly called it), Jin realized that despite all the touching and kissing and fondling that went on, there was always one that didn't happen. Tomohisa never, ever kissed Jin on the lips, not once. It wasn't as though Jin and Tomohisa had a kind of relationship. No. Definitley not a relationship. Just an understanding - an understanding that both wanted sex from each other and that was all. But, fuck did Jin want more. He hated to admit it, but that was exactly what he wanted. And it wasn't like he wanted it from someone else; he wanted it from Tomohisa and Tomohisa alone.
It hadn't been a terrible day, although he had to admit that it was very rare for him to have a bad day at work to begin with. But when he came home and found Tomohisa sitting in a dark apartment once again, the place reeking of alcohol, Jin just snapped. He slammed the door behind him, as he was prone to do whenever he found Tomohisa like this (which was essentially every day of the week).
"Fucking sh-! Jin!" Tomohisa cursed from the couch, his hand pressing against his temples. "Is this some type of fucking joke to you?" he hissed angrily, leaning forward in his seat as he tried to moan away the pain of impending headache.
"I don't know," Jin snarked, "Is it some joke to you to be drunk as a skunk every night of the week?" He continued with his noise-making as he slammed his briefcase onto a surprisingly empty kitchen table (he supposed Tomohisa had learned his lesson after they had tried to have sex against the table/on the table, but the mood had been killed when empty glass bottles had shattered to the floor and neither really wanted to have sex when there was the prospect of getting killed by tiny pieces of glass). He pulled back one of the chairs and threw himself onto it, loosening his tie and unbuttoning the first few buttons of his plain white buttoned down shirt.
"I get drunk a lot. What's the fucking big deal?" Tomohisa complained, his hands away from his temples as he turned his head to stare straight at Jin.
Jin swallowed. It was always at times like this when Tomohisa would turn from being angry drunk to angry stalking to angry seductor and then angry sex. Since Jin always came home to see this and thus ended up angry more often than not, this happened repeatedly. He took in a deep breath before he spoke. His voice ended up sounding harder and more cynical than he had ever expected. "The fucking problem is, Tomohisa, that I'm sick and tired of having to clean up after you. If I wasn't around to take care of you, you'd be in a fucking hole with rats and roaches crawling up your ass as you try to reach for another fucking bottle of alcohol."
"Fuck you," Tomohisa growled, standing up to stride towards Jin and purpose in his eyes.
Jin stood up quickly, waiting for the impact and a second later, it came as Tomohisa shoved Jin against the front door. Jin was ready this time though, as he quickly spinned around, grabbing Tomohisa by the shoulders and thus slamming the younger male against the door instead.
Tomohisa laughed harshly against Jin's throat where his mouth had instantly gone. "Oooh. The aggressive one tonight. Feeling a little kinky tonight? Master and commander anyone?"
Jin resisted from moaning against the feel of Tomohisa's tongue against his throat, making his skin feel hot and tingly. "Shut the fuck up, Tomohisa," Jin snapped. He grabbed Tomohisa's face in his hands and forced him to look Jin in the eyes, which the younger male did, no matter how much his focus lacked. He sucked in his breath (and his courage) as he leaned forward, intending for lips to match lips, but when he felt Tomohisa jerk his head away from Jin's hands, he knew this was how it was meant to be. "I knew it," Jin murmured, disappointment filling his entire body.
Breath after breath and Tomohisa still felt like he couldn't catch a single breath. "Jin. What the-?" he started, his voice cracking awkwardly as he spoke.
Jin released his grip from Tomohisa and Tomohisa suddenly felt as though something was sorely lacking within him as he felt his heart pound faster and faster. "Forget it, Yamashita" were the words that came out of Jin's mouth as he turned back around, grabbing his briefcase from the table and striding towards his room. The older male turned around and stared at Tomohisa, a little melancholic, but not a single word was said during this period. Tomohisa could feel himself freeze up and the world spun around him as he watched Jin turn back on his heel and walk into his bedroom. Tomohisa stood stiff against the front door and he couldn't bring himself to move a single step. Instead, he collapsed against the door, slumping down to the floor and immediately blacked out.

Jin didn't come home the next night.
Or the night after.
And the night after that.
And the next night.
And the next.
And soon, Jin had forgotten what the inside of his apartment even looked like.
Instead, Jin had crashed as a co-worker's place, constantly having to buy new suits so as to not reuse the same one over and over again. (It grew a little awkward when he realized that his co-worker, older female co-worker, obviously had a crush on him, but he had been able to distract her feelings onto another guy thankfully.) When she finally realized that he had not, in fact, brought over multiple suits and had just been buying them constantly, she forced him to go home, telling him that it was for his own good and he should tell whoever he was avoiding to "take his stick out of his ass and grow up" when Jin had told her the essential information which was really that his roommate was an alcoholic who overworked himself and treated Jin like shit. Jin refrained from answering when she had inquired who exactly his roommate was.
It was two weeks and a half after Jin had seen Tomohisa. Face to face, that is. He still had Tomohisa haunting his every day life, what with billboards and television ads and newspaper articles and all sorts of things in the media. And with every view Jin had had of Tomohisa through those materials, he felt as though someone had taken out a mallet and was constantly beating it against his brain or heart. Both ached really. At the door to his... their apartment, Jin froze with the key inserted into the lock and only the motion to turn it was left. He wondered what he'd find in the apartment. Tomohisa drunk, passed out on the couch? Probably. Tomohisa remembering who Jin was? Unlikely.
He took in a deep breath and turned the key. As soon as he threw the door open, the stench of what could only be described as rotting eggs wafted through the air. Jin immediately gaped, using his mouth to breath instead of his mouth (pinching at his nose in order to ensure this stuck). Before he had been able to do so, he managed to smell the spilled alcohol and he wondered how he even thought he could forget that scent at all. The room was as dark as ever; the lights were off and the curtains drawn and Jin had had to squint when he realized that the light in the dining room/kitchen wasn't off, but that the light bulb just hadn't been replaced. He stepped forward, keeping the door slightly open so that there'd be some light and when he felt his shoe hit something sticky, he flinched. Out of the corner of his eye, he could see a body moving towards him and Jin immediately dodged the figure.
"Intruder!" Tomohisa cried, his voice slightly slurring the words as he spoke, and his weak body flopped onto the floor as he missed his target entirely.
Jin hissed, "It's Akanishi, Yamashita. Idiot." He moved to help the younger male up, but Tomohisa slapped Jin's hands away from him.
"Fuck you!" Tomohisa snapped, sounding a lot stronger surpisingly enough and he pushed himself off the floor and back onto his feet, only managing through the help of the furniture around him. "Get the fuck out."
"No," Jin snapped back. "I live here too. I pay rent. I pay for food. And I obviously am the only one who keeps it fucking clean. What the fuck have you been doing?" Feeling mildly hurt by Tomohisa's refusal, he hid it by trying to busy himself with gathering all the bottles together after he had finally found the last light source and flipped the switch on. "I'm surprised you haven't gotten sick from alcohol poisoning yet."
Tomohisa hissed, "I'm not that fucking stupid, Jin."
Jin swung around, glaring heavily at Tomohisa, unsure of the younger male could even see it. "It's Akanishi. You have no fucking right to call me by my name." He then turned back to his task, tossing all the bottles he could grab into an empty plastic bag that had just been lying on the floor by chance. (Jin ignored how sticky it felt.)
Tomohisa laughed sardonically, "You were fine with it when I had you in front of me, ben-"
Jin immediately interrupted as he continued to shove bottles (how the fuck could there be so many in just two weeks and a half?) into his plastic back, "That was before I realized I was just your fucking toy. Someone to please you while you were at home after you get back from work where multiple people are kissing your ass. That way, you would have practice, right?"
Tomohisa sputtered, "Fuck you!" He slammed his fists against the now empty kitchen table and Jin could feel the table bump against his hip as he walked past it.
Jin dropped the bag of bottles, ignoring the shattering noise behind him as he placed his palms firmly on the table, meeting Tomohisa's gaze. "Tell me that I'm wrong then, Yamashita. Tell me that this wasn't just some fun fucking game to you and that I am not just another fuck buddy to add to your list." His eyes caught Tomohisa's and for once, the younger male didn't look away or break the staring between them.
Tomohisa froze. His voice caught in his throat as he tried to figure out the truth to the statement. "I... can't," he said finally, his mind completely blank.
The disappointment in Jin's eyes wasn't hard to miss as he started to move towards his room. "That's what I thought," Jin murmured. He took a step forward when Tomohisa grabbed at Jin's arm, reaching out across the table.
"Fuck! At least hear me out, Jin!" Tomohisa snapped, his words no longer slurring and his voice sounding more coherent than it had in days (maybe even weeks).
Jin glared at the hand on him, not wanting to meet Tomohisa's eyes in fear that he might break down (no matter how strong he tried to make himself). "Fuck off, Yamashita. I don't want to hear your excuses." He grabbed at Tomohisa's hand, motioning to take it off. "And for the fucking last time, it's Akanishi!"
Tomohisa, instead of letting it go (as he had regretably done before), just used his other hand instead, "No. You have to hear me. I don't fucking care what it takes, but hear me out, damn it."
Finally meeting Tomohisa's eyes, Jin succumbed, "Fine. But you're still a fucking asshole, no matter what." He brushed Tomohisa's hand off of his and when Tomohisa saw that Jin wasn't about to run off, he (reluctantly) let go. "But this better not be some bullshit story about your family and shit like that," Jin added, a beat later.
Tomohisa glared, "It's not going to be a stupid story, asshole. I was just going to say that I'm a fucking monster and I don't have a heart that can be opened up to other people. But fuck you. You ruined the fucking mood." He grabbed a ball of paper from the table, throwing it at Jin's face.
Jin stared as the ball hit him in the center of his forehead, and he stood there, still silent and still unmoving. There was a beat then suddenly Jin started laughing. Tomohisa's eyes furrowed together. He almost started to speak when Jin did instead, "Are you fucking joking me?" It looked as though he was brushing tears from his eyes. "What is this? Practice for you? A fucking line like that? Who wrote this script?"
Tomohisa could feel his indignation building. "What's that supposed to fucking mean?" he snapped, his fingernails (his hand had already been in a fist) digging into the skin of his palm.
Jin's eyes bore into Tomohisa's. "It's supposed to mean that you're a fucking idiot who's making excuses for himself with flowery words like monster and heart and open." He grabbed the paper ball that Tomohisa had thrown and threw it at Tomohisa as well. He was pleased when he saw it bounce off Tomohisa's forehead as well. "That's bullshit and you know it. You just don't wanna say the actual words for fear that if you say it yourself, it'll be true."
"Oh, really?" Tomohisa inquired, his voice cold. "And what words are those?"
Jin leaned forward against the table, trying to get as close as he could, even with the table in the way. He said slowly and deliberately, "That you're a selfish whore who's only out to please himself."
Tomohisa breathed out, "You don't.."
Jin's eyes narrowed, "That's exactly what I think." He snorted, shaking his head, "But what good is it saying this to a drunk ass who won't remember a single thing the next morning?" He spun around to head for his room when Tomohisa grabbed at him from across the table. Jin turned to glare, but something changed in between the period of time that he had turned around and Tomohisa's face had suddenly turned more pained and Jin couldn't be as angry as he had been.
"I haven't been drinking," Tomohisa said harshly, his tone not matching his eyes.
Jin frowned, banishing away his previous thoughts, "Yeah, because all those empty bottles mean that you haven't been drinking, I'm sure."
"Don't say that without any fucking proof," Tomohisa snarled, the previous gentleness in his eyes washed away in his anger as he gripped Jin's arm tightly and painfully.
Jin hissed loudly. "Let go of me!" he snapped, twisting his arm back and prying Tomohisa's hand off of him. Jin stumbled back, slamming against one of the random cabinets that held all of Tomohisa's shoes. He hissed when he felt the sting of its impact, then tried to right himself, getting his balance by pressing off of it. He didn't manage to get very far before Tomohisa was right in front of him, eyes narrowed and harshly breathing. "Yama-" Jin started, but the words were swallowed in his throat as Tomohisa pressed his lips against Jin, Tomohisa's tongue instantly trying to pry Jin's mouth open.
Jin wanted to fight. Really, he wanted to not have Tomohisa have this power over him again. He wanted to resist from bending to the whims of this younger male. But Jin found that despite these thoughts and that desire, Jin was leaning into Tomohisa's mouth and his eyes fluttering closed. His arms had somehow found their way into Tomohisa's hair and Jin practically melted as he remembered what he had been missing for the last two weeks. His hands trailed to trace every inch of Tomohisa's face, trying to re-remember every single detail that he had never really forgotten. His tongue traced along the front of Tomohisa's teeth, trying to learn that for the first time ever, and he sucked in the minty- Jin froze; his body stiffened and Tomohisa realized it not a second too late as he pulled away from Jin.
"Jin," Tomohisa breathed, "Jin, say something."
Jin's wide eyes moved onto the younger male, taking in anxiety that Jin could've sworn he had never seen on Tomohisa. "You..." Jin started, but his mind couldn't form thoughts as he stared at Tomohisa in surprise. "Mint."
To Jin's surprise, Tomohisa blushed. "I... The drinks... I just couldn't drink anymore," Tomohisa stammered (another new thing to Jin). "I did get the urge, but I couldn't stomach it. And so I'd just pour it out, wherever I was." Jin was shocked when Tomohisa's blush got heavier and then he wondered if this was really what the younger male acted like when he wasn't so inebriated. "It's why the floor's so sticky," Tomohisa mumbled, his hands fumbling with each other and his head away from Jin, looking embarassed.
"You..." Jin began again, but found himself at a loss for words. So instead, he leaned over and pressed his lips lightly against Tomohisa. He found that the young male's lips were just as soft as he had always thought and sighed softly. "I missed you," Jin said unintentionally as he pulled back and surprised even himself when they came out.
Tomohisa smiled - a dazzling smile that made Jin dizzy with something close to adoration. "I....You," Tomohisa started but instead of continuing, he pressed his lips back onto Jin's and he started pulling Jin towards Jin's room. Jin followed without argument and as he closed the door behind him, he thought that this was exactly what he'd been waiting for.

Jin hummed lightly, tapping a beat against Tomohisa's back as the younger male laid face-down, sprawled over Jin's bed. The younger male was making up words as he went along with the random melody Jin had made up and started laughing when Jin had hit a particularly ticklish spot on him. "You're going to have to stop that if I keep getting tickled," Tomohisa scolded lightly, holding his head up just high enough so that he wouldn't mumble into the pillow.
Leaning on his elbow, Jin smirked, "And that's supposed to turn me away?"
Tomohisa rolled his eyes and laid his head back down, yawning slightly into the pillow and Jin found himself brushing away strands of hair from Tomohisa's face. Tomohisa's eyes flashed with sheer joy, but that only lasted for a second, before he was back to his (somewhat) expressionless self. Jin found himself almost laughing at that, but decided to hold off until Tomohisa was more comfortable with this person that he was when he wasn't drinking. Tomohisa stared at Jin from his spot and then murmured into his pillow almost muffling his voice entirely, "I like you, you know?"
Jin nearly stopped breathing (once he had figured out what Tomohsia had said). Of all the things he had expected to come out of Tomohisa's mouth, that hadn't been one of them. "Is... that the best I'll get?" Jin said, trying to keep his voice as jokingly as he could and not show Tomohisa just how much those words affected him.
But Tomohisa didn't notice. He sat up, keeping his eyes focused on Jin's and he licked at his lips uncomfortably, brushing his hair back as well. "For now... yes," he said, sounding slightly awkward and Jin realized just how much it affected Tomohisa to even say those words, to open himself to the point of letting Jin in this much.
Jin breathed and all he could do was nod in reply. Tomohisa smiled before lying back down and then Jin found his mouth getting away from him, "Does this mean you're going to stop sleeping with people in your company?"
Tomohisa glared at Jin when he heard this, "No, Jin. I'm not going to be sleeping with people in the company." He huffed as Jin beamed at him brightly. Tomohisa's eyes narrowed, "But you're going to have to make it worth my while, ass."
Jin grinned despite himself. "Whatever you say, slut," Jin joked and found himself surprisingly glad that he had come back. He would not change this for the world.
