I think vet sci is hard more because it requires so much extra non-academic work than because the ENTER is high. The ENTER is high mostly because demand is high, I think. But you should've come to the vet info session with me if you were interested ( ... )

**sigh** You'd be very welcome in my workplace at SEnix, just don't dribble on the keyboard!

I have spoken to out local optometrist and she does enjoy her job. It wouldn't be a bad choice, but it is very.... monotonous. 9-5, people in, people out, same thing over and over again. It would be a comfort to me on some days, knowing there's nothing new, but on others, it would bore me. =_= Maybe I'll choose something less secure afterall.

Optometry should be interesting! I nearly put it down as a preference (got to use that UMAT somewhere)

Word ^^"

Optometrists are nice. But I'm biased; I like having tests conducted and being told to look into this and stare at that and here are some drops we're going to put in your eye so your vision goes orange.

And then there is that thing where optometrists have both financial and job security. That was a big plus about Medicine for me. And since optometrists can work 9-5, maybe you could always...have a side job! Zomg, I'm terrified that my work life will be boring.
