I wish computers had a proper immune system
I tried to install Photoshop CS 9.0 the other day, by using a burnt copy. Now the computer won't load anything up, not even the start bar, it won't let me transfer files over to the USB (heck, it took 10minutes to recognise the USB was there), it refuses to do anything. (Including installing the program)
SO, I'm going to get someone (such as my cousin. woohoo, free computer assistance and kumquats... his mother will make him bring them over.) to fix it. If it needs to be reimaged or have somethingdrastic done to it, I'm going to relay the USB over to you guys and nab all your musics and anime and japanese files. (NNNUUUUUOOOOOOOO)
I'm not going to be online for a little while, so here are the Japanese lessons that I've planned for next week. (If case it doesn't get fixed by then):
THURS 10am-1pm: Michelle, Sarron, Squidy, Jeni.
(Sarron, you better get to class this week!!!! And maybe have a catch-up lesson too. Catchup lesson: 2pm-howeverlong it takes THURS. Bit stupid to have a catch-up lesson after class, as you'll sit there confused for the earlier lesson, but I don't want to drag you out on Wednesday and organise all these fiddly times, finding out when you work etc)
FRI 10am-1pm: Margumug, Neridabean.
Today, I went to Coles Central (not the MC one, the one near Flinders St Station) for an interview. The hours are weird. It is the weekdays that are busy, and the weekends that are slow. Also, it is the afternoon that is slow, and the evening and nights that are busy. WTH. Now that I have come back home and realised that we don't have long til uni starts, I am hoping that Coles doesn't give the job. If they do, I hope I 'miss out' on shifts a lot. I'll only be working weekends when uni starts anyway, so... it should be OK, but I'd rather not have the job.
But then, there's getting a little bit of money when I can... Hmm, well then, I might as well try out for that little sushi place in the Port Phillip Arcade. That could help my Japanese and finally be able to brush off that girl from my previous HS who keeps hounding me for my ENTER results. You did Jap, yeah? What'd you get? I just got a 40. How about you? a 50, yeah? Hey, did you do English? How about this subject? And this on? I betcha you did good. Ugh, goooo awaaaay.
*sigh* I wish I could connect the printer to this computer and print some resumes.*headdesk*
Well, the flip side to the coin would be forced to draw something to kill time. Oh, and I bought a 00-size brush today for inking. It is very small and very thin and sakana has yet to try it.... AND! There are also these brush-pens. Very spiffy.
