so Chiyo's hard drive just crashed. AGAIN. I seriously don't know what the hell it is about that computer that makes it eat hard drives. This is the third hard drive it's done this to ( Read more... )

Laptop drives? I'd suggest keeping only your OS on the onboard drive to reduce drive wear, and getting a USB2 enclosure for 3.5" desktop drives. They're much more stable, plus you can have like 250GB drives in them. ^____^

With a computer that small, I'd imagine you have greater chances for heat issues.

I have no idea what any of the other stuff you're vaguely referring to is, though.

The vinyl cutter's working fine, honestly. Can't cut stuff as detailed as you can, but it works for what I need.

I'm talking about how the PSX is antiquated, and nobody carries or makes digital controllers any more. They still make controllers with digital bases in them (IIDX, Pop'n, Guitar Hero, name it), but those are all big companies. I'm shit out of luck right now unless I start asking questions to places I don't want to, and talking about deals way beyond my means. -_-
