Supporting the Arts

very cool! reawaken art self for winter! are you going to start working on those blocks and the display case? i'm drawing a snake. i saw him down in the desert last weekend, but the drawing is more than the snake was, in some ways. less in others, of course, but good for me. feels good to be drawing again.

First order of priority is to make the workshop the space I want it to be. And yes I have almost all the materials for the blocks so that will be first. With a little effort they should be done by TheGoddessChild's 4th birthday.

Enjoy the drawing - and what you have created with the Rainbow Serpent is art as well. ++Good.

that makes sense. i keep remembering i need to abscond with Rhi for a day, after they get back from Hawaii, to the Children's Fantasy Garden. a reward for successful potty training, in a kind of indirect way, since i wouldn't take her out until that was accomplished. but now it is.

yes, this snake is very different from the rainbow serpent. the serpent is a much larger work, and took hours and hours to tighten and braid and then direct the serpentines over the ceiling. this one has a head, and rattles. *grin* and is a 14x21 piece of paper, which is easier. :)
