I wasn't sure what direction Rowling was going with the new novel. I mean, Hermione sleeping with Snape just seemed, well, a bit too contrived for me. And when the Half-Blood Prince cannibalizes Ron, I just, you know, felt she was trying to hard to convince us of the viciousness of the wizarding world. *shrug*
