It's a matter of flexibility. The term 'Double jointed' implies that you have two or more joints at the bending point in question, not that the joint there goes both ways.

ummmm andre.... there is so no such thing as double jointed... i saw it on the discovery channel and they are always right... they are crazy like that! :P
