Um, not being wiccan, I can only say... From what I've seen, if you're doing it right it ain't fluffy. Sure does attract the fluffbunnies, but how's that different from the nominally Christian folks who are obsessed with with disturbingly cute angels?
they are desturbingly cute. everytime i thought of what the archangels would look like... they looked more like blood covered death machines with wings ans swords. and HUGE genatles.
It's not really just Wicca that has that type of belief, in fact most organized religions, and in fact some professions even have that rule. Most Christian variants run off of the rule of "Do unto Others as you would have done to you," along with the whole idea of transgressions kicking you in the ass upon death. Then there's Hinduism and Buddhism with both Karma and acts of service to reach a higher state of being. Next we have a non-religious state of power: Doctors. Their law is 1st do no harm. On top of that there is the idea of yin and yang which state that good and evil balance, such as in the use of chi(qi, take your pick). It is generally taught that use of negative energy against a person corrupts the body and spirit of the user and positive use strengthens in this practice
