Just had to share the ridiculousness of this.
Yesterday I took Marcus to the shopping center and we went to the small play area (just some slides and foam blocks, a padded area) to play for a bit. Money money money...
We've been spending too much money recently. I'm terrible at saving, and Oli seems to be not too good at it either. With another baby in November we really should be making a better effort. We want to buy a house. Houses are retardedly expensive in Japan, and small. If we're buying a house I want a decent sized one. Oli does not want to spend a lot ( Read more... ) -

End of Golden Week.
We spent last night and all day today in Kobe, visiting our friends Ana and Tatsuya. It was a looong day but we managed to have a good visit and get back in time for dinner without too much hassle. Sleep stuff.
Marcus is in his own room and own bed (not the crib) for the first time tonight. He's doing really well so far. He didn't complain when I put him to sleep, and only came out once after 30 minutes (I assume he was trying to fall asleep and couldn't). Hoikuen orientation.
As I mentioned before, Marcus was accepted into nursery school (hoikuen in Japanese). He's set to start on the 2nd of April and yesterday we had orientation. The school is good, close to our house (like 10min walking) and it's philosophy is about understanding nature and animals. Oli made my birthday special. He made me an awesome brunch, got Marcus flowers to give to me (which he did and it was adorable) made me pad thai for dinner and bought me the most delicious chocolately birthday cake. All while taking Marcus off my hands for the day. Fantastic ( Read more... ) -

Wow. I haven't written for awhile. I guess that's what happens when you know nobody is reading anymore.
