Predicament

I went to my interview for Home Depot on Tuesday. I would say that it went pretty well. They told me they would call me by the end of the week about a second interview if they thought I was worth it. Commuting 20 miles to and from work every day seems hardly worth an extra buck or two per hour... especially when you take into consideration the time you will spend driving on top of the cost of gas.

Well damn, Home Depot made it easy on me. The manager that interviewed me said, "I was very impressed with your interview so the decision to hire you was easy." And she offered me $10.00 hour plus an extra .50 cents after the probation time is up.

So as far as I am concerned, "Wal-Mart who?"

Certainly I had to struggle to keep my smile under control. It was about to tear my face in half from a mixture of joy and glee.

All I know is, Wal-Mart sucks balls.

So I'd choose Home Depot based on that, if given the choice.

I agree that Wal-Mart sucks Santa's balls beyond the likes of which many have never seen, but the department I worked for was probably the best there.

Whatever, fuck em. Home Depot for me! Now I get to call Wal-Mart and let them know that Home Depot made me an offer I could not refuse.
