I had this problem at work once, just reverse where we could send but not receive. Hmm. All I can say is check all the in and out settings and double check your logons and passwords...if not, install a patch for it and redo everything.

nope. I can log onto my webmail and send from there (it's just a pain in the ass). So...I is confused, like a slack-jawed yonkel. I'll run a scan over night and keep working on it until I hit frustration.

Check your POP3 address and logon preferences, outlook likes to lose or switch them every now and then.

The important thing is to have "shawmail" for your incomming and outgoing servers.
All else fails, call Shaw's customer support and get them to walk you through it over the phone (or tell you it is a known problem)...
