As a follow-on to my
six-pack-movie-preview, I'm posting some short thoughts on the movies I've already seen as well as the movies to come.
Seen:
The Forbidden Kingdom: Decent. Targeted to a younger audience. I always enjoy seeing Jackie Chan, and he had a really good fight scene with Jet Li.

Hulk, Wall-E, and Dark Knight are absolute must-sees for me. Brandon really likes Hellboy (the character, not so much the last movie), so I might have to endure Hellboy II. Who is and what universe is Hancock from? It seems like they scraped the bottom of the comic book heroes barrel to find him.
Dude! Robert Downey Jr is totally my new favorite actor too! That movie was beyond awesome. And now that you have re-confirmed the awesomeness of Harold and Kumar, I have to go see that this weekend.

No prob. After Tropic Thunder, pickings seem pretty slim until Little Wizard Boy And All His Little Wizard Friends VI.

Yeah, I did not like the first movie. Not a bad concept for a character, but there was absolutely no tension in the movie. I think the previews for Hellboy I gave away far too much.
Who is and what universe is Hancock from?
Reading the Wikipedia page, it seems that it's an original concept conceived back in the mid-90's. But there doesn't seem a better time to satirize the superhero movie genre than now.
Also, as an update to Speed Racer, I saw it last night and was fairly well entertained. Prepare to see the movie skew young at times, though.
And what is with the crowd in the movie cheering car explosions? I mean, people could have been killed. Everyone's so heartless.
