I need to rant about this and I'm going to be kind enough to put it under a cut to spare those that don't want to see it. I will warn some of you though, this might piss some of you off and I'm sure a lot of you will disagree. That is fine, but please remember this is my opinion and I'm allowed to have it. You already know since I'm chatting with you on twitter, but all I'm wanting is people's favorite comfort fics, of Steve comforting Danny. Such a simple request and yet I'm having to jump through circus hoops to get to ask it. *rolls eyes*

Maybe you should create that comm. I'd join it. I feel like there have to be a lot of people that feel that way, to be honest. *hugs* I'm just dipping my toes in that fandom, but it sounds irritating.

the fics and most of the people are great, don't let my frustration dissuade you from the fandom entirely. I'm just annoyed that there has to be a comm for every little tiny thing someone thinks up about a fandom anymore. I've been annoyed about this for awhile H5O is just the fandom that finally pushed me over the edge so to speak.

I would create the comm, except that A) It would just add to the madness that is already out there and would be redundant at this point in the game, and B) I don't have the time to manage a comm, sad but true.

Sheesh, I am not even really involved in Torchwood anymore and I don''t want to especially like this. H05 I don't even know about and the rest, while I am in comms, I don't go to alot anymore cuz for me it's the same thing at all of them. (dotcoms_refresh being an example for my bandom). *hugs*

Torchwood is notorious for having comms for everything under the sun. I swear someone blinks while thinking about TW and suddenly there has to be a comm for it. (That's a joke, but only half way. LOL)

H5O is Hawaii Five-O, in case you were wondering.

And what your saying is exactly the problem, eventually all the same things start getting posted to all the comms that were created to keep everything "separate". So instead of just getting the post once you get it 10 times which I find more annoying than having to scroll past a post I'm not interested in. Which again makes all the comms people feel are necessary just redundant. Hence the reason I've started limiting the comms I join.

But as I said, people have gotten in this mind set that these comms must be created and I don't see it changing anytime soon.

Neither do I but we can wish though. Thank gosh, I'm not in TW anymore...I read but that's it. Hawaii Five-0 scares me a bit cuz people say it's so different, than the same and so good. I haven't really even seen the first one so no on this version.

H5O is an odd mix of the original and something new. I love it, I feel they got it just right. I probably wouldn't have liked it if they had tried to make a carbon copy of the original. It needed to be it's own show, but with small nods to the original. TPTB, in my opinion, have gotten the perfect balance. You should give the show a try even if you decide to not get involved in the fandom.

Ooookay, this is weird!

I haven't heard something like this before. Except this one icon-tutorial-comm, where you have to join another comm to ask for coloring tutorials.

I started to notice that a couple of years ago. I actually have a Torchwood company that I don't bother with anymore because I honestly think it's ridiculous I had to make one, now that I look back on it.

I don't have to worry about that in my fandom now, but I do miss other fandoms. Makes things so much more difficult. D:
