I have joined a gym, beware the world is coming to an end. Anywho, Garrick work had a corporate deal, to now I strive for a real attempt at getting down to my high school weight. Since Jodes posted an inspiration picture, perhaps if I can find one, I will do the same ( Read more... )

I've heard that cutting out cheese (or at least minimizing it as much as possible) is good for losing weight. Also, a MODIFIED version of Atkins is actually quite healthy. If you cut out wasteful carbs and replace them with healthy carbs like fruit and veggies, it's a lot better for you. Like stirfry with more veggies than pasta/rice. Also, if you switch from white rice to brown rice, it's way better for you. Nixing sodas and drinking water with lemon juice, and replacing juice with actual fruit are other good things. Come on, chick. We can do this. I did the Atkins thing, too. And it worked. But, it's a hard diet to keep up and as soon as I fell off I gained it all back. T and I are using www.fitday.com to track what we eat and our excersize. It's awesome and it's free. :)

I'm going to have to check out that site. The problem with Atkins, is it's so hard to stay on. And once you quit it does all come right back.

HoorayI I already know that stuff! Seriously, if this were a class I'd ace the 'Erin' test.

Sorry I've missed your calls, sweetie. Let me know what your schedule's like for the next few days and I'll give you a call.

Love,
Megs
