Ugh, What Am I Doing Awake?

Actually, there's a happy answer to that question. The library (you know, the one I've been waiting 5 weeks to hear from since I filled out my paperwork) just called and said everything finally came through, and now I'm going in tomorrow for training. So that explains why I woke up; why I'm still awake is so that I can do laundry so that I can ( Read more... )

1) Yay for the library finally calling!

2) Sorry last week sucked.

3) When is the next concert? You might considering asking our father what with him liking the folk music and potentially being up in Baltimore working earlier that day. If he's not interested, you don't think of anyone else who might be, and its during my winter break I may want to go...

4) But you'll be with someone who *does* know the language and it'd be SUCH a cool trip...Okay, it probably *isn't* your type of thing, but...so cool!

Our father is the first on my list, and I'll ask him as soon as I find out his deal (the concert is on a Saturday -- January 14 -- so if they're not putting him up in Baltimore, I highly doubt he'll be there on a Saturday). Is it during your winter break? Well then come up and visit me for the weekend and we'll go!

As for China, Jane does not know the language. Marj does, but international travel with a month's notice is not my forte...also, I am not the happiest traveller. I really like being at home in my own bed, not on an overnight train from the airpot to wherever it is that Marj will be, surrounded by 1 billion people. I get grumpy when I travel. Just ask Alice. Or anybody....

That's the weekend dorm re-open...I was planning on moving back in on the 15th or possibly the 14th (though the VA governor's inauguration is in Williamsburg this year and is that Saturday so traffic will be a bitch).

Yeah, if you get grumpy travelling to Williamsburg I hate to see you in China...But it does sound like a really cool trip.
