I just had a most lovely and tasty lunch.
slice in half, and toast one torpedo roll lightly, until it just starts to get brown.
on roll, slather on some mayo.
Spoon on a mixture of olive oil and red wine vinegar
spoon on some chopped hot peppers condiment (originally from a jar, it's a gooey texture)
Pick off 4 medium leaves from a basil plant in my office, cut/tear basil into small pieces,
place half on each half of the roll.
Put on some fresh videlia onion, chopped.
add meat / cheese: capicola, hard salami, provolone cheese, and Soppressata(sliced really thin)
Add some lettuce (it's that "small various greens lettuce", not iceberg.)
Eat sandwich.
Dessert: about 3/4 cup of freshly picked raspberries from the bush behind my house.
Later this afternoon, waiting for me in the office freezer: one Good Humor ice cream
