Hope you'll adjust soon.. SoCal is not known to be the coldest place in the country :) I find a long scarf really handy in such a situation; that, and wearing long pants, and perhaps gloves.. haven't felt the need to use a long coat yet.

And worry not, the temperature goes up and down.. it's probably just a cold spell.

How cold is it? Its pretty cold here too (40 C)... Dont worry, u ll get used to it. When i am really cold, this is what i do: I imagine how hot, sweaty and gross summer was in the philippines and suddenly cold seems like a better alternative ;)
