I'll be working at CTY this summer! I'm going to TA (assume it's a verb) 'individually paced math sequence' for 5th and 6th grade students. Looks good; shouldn't be too scary... although I hope that the material will be quite advanced.

I forgot to ask you, what site will you be working at? :)
and will you be able to go back to Manila/Indonesia?

I'll be working at California Lutheran University, which is around an hour from here. (I'll have to leave Summer Math a day before it ends...)

I'll be flying back on August 6, and arrived in Manila on August 8. I don't think I'm going back to Indonesia this summer (too lazy to do that... I'll only have less than 3 weeks at home.)

to TA (to AI in IU-speak), and to RA are definitely verbs in the academic community :) Sounds cool, I wonder what bright grade school kids get up to! It'd be a nice preparation for TA-ing college kids as well..

I'm tutoring two girls who goes to the college across the street right now. It's a nice job. And it'll be interesting to see how math-oriented elementary/middle school kids are compared to non-math college students.
