Owch.

Appendicitis = PAIN and SUFFERING and NASTY ANT-ACID THAT TAKES LIKE BATTERY ACID and ... Awesome pain killers.

At least you miss your dad. When my Dad was in a coma for a month and then was in like four different hospitals for an entire summer.. I didn't miss him at all. I was happy and carefree. Hell, even when the doctors said that he might be braindead I was like "Eh. *shrugs and wanders off to talk with other people in the ICU waiting room about how their relatives are doing until Allen bitches at me."; then when he came home I cried. Not because I was happy, but because the first thing he said to me was "Your vacation is over." in that menacing 'Do-As-I-Say-If-You-Want-To-Live' tone of his.

Yeah, I'm glad I'm able to miss my father. I have it well, I think. Your father just... doesn't sound fun.

My father is a poor excuse for a parent. He's too violent and mean tempered to ever love him. After about the age of ten I discovered that I'd stopped caring about him. And, honestly, if Mom had asked me instead of Allen about whether or not to pull the life support on Dad when he was in a coma I don't know what I would have said.
