How I blew my shot at tabloid fame

Yesterday, my landlady came in and asked me to talk to stars of a telenovela (a Latin American soap) about the monkey island.  Obligingly, I descended to Paradise (i.e. "Paradise seafood restaurant"), above which I reside.  The "telenovela stars" turned out to be a tabloid "journalist" and a photographer.  After the introductions, they began ( Read more... )

Жизнь хорошо, жду весны, очень ) Но пока она как-то никак не проглянет сквозь тучи...
Латиноамериканские фотки будут еще :) Мне и про Индию тоже говорили, что почти ничего с тех пор не изменилось ))

Well, I think you were wise to be diplomatic in this instance. :) Who knows what kind of fierce fights might have erupted over the polar bear sector of the cigar market?

Catherine, I'm glad we see eye to eye (or would snout to snout be more appropriate?) on this matter. Your economic evaluation of the potential consequence of any indiscretion on my part about unusual activity of the neighborhood fauna is particularly enlightening. Fortunately, this bear didn't appear to be a traditional representative of the "polar bear sector of the cigar market."
