Armies are obsolete.  There is only a 13% chance that one could be built here with a 2% success rate at operations.  The most efficient way is to create small independent groups.

Everything within a one half mile radius of the Durandal is off limits.  Do not bring your army there.

I'm hoping that warning doesn't apply to me.

Armies? What, is there a war? It's good Rubedo is missing it, for once.

If you weaklings are fighting, I'll stick around, just because I'm weary of wandering the City aimlessly.

There has not been a conflict yet.

Tell me what's happening. I'll board the Durandal and stay there for a while, in case I need the ES Simeon.

It seems that some think that having a mobilized army to protect the innocent of the city will be effective. Other than that, I do no know much about the situation.

Well, look who it is. Remember me, KOS-MOS? You'll think twice about blasting my brains out this time around. Though I suppose I should thank you, in a way.

My memory banks do recognize you, Virgil. How did you get here? Where is Shion?

Shion isn't in the City.

And I got here by the same glitch of space-time that brought you here, I'm guessing. One second I was standing next to my E.S.; the next, I'm looking at a fountain. I had to find my E.S. somewhere in the middle of a bunch of trees some people call Xanadu.

I see. I have detected other E.S. class machines that are not E.S.s. Do you have information on that?
