Besides Kisumai's debut in 2011 (though, I'm not relly happy with the 3:4 concept), Johnny's West is probably the most interesting group so far debuted since I got into JE fandom in 2007 (before HSJ's debut).
Kanjuu seems to be more popular comparing to when I was fangirling them, possibly because now they have more activities besides shokura. They're being known worldwide, not only limited to Kansai region. All the job that their sempai have done now is paid off. However, to me, Kanjuu is always made of B.A.D, BOYS, Veterans and all the lame guys, not flashy kids nowadays, I always have a flash of their images in the past everytime I see West. I don't want to see a Hamada without Daichi.
It's so bitter, Hamada and Daichi have always been together, the top of Kansai, but now, what have they got? Daichi left, Hamada got debuted without Daichi. I have mixed feelings when watching West. I like Kiriyama and Junta and Hama, I like Shigeoka as well, but I feel really upset when Hama-chan is like that, standing alone. Well, not really, but in my view, Hama-chan is always left alone while the others are on pairs. Because there is no Daichi. West fans now will never know about Daichi, about the combi HamaDai, about how and what they have been through together in those past 6 years ever since they entered the Jimusho, it's just somehow sad when I see Hama-chan now. Well, on the bright side, all the new kids are loveable and doing a good job, I don't complain at all. They are funny and kansai, just like their sempai. If I were back to the fandom, I would definitely support them, along with Kisumai and Arashi.
Those things aside, Shigeoka is really cute, I noticed his cuteness back then when I was into Kanjuu, he was backdancing for the sempai. He appeared plain good-looking but significant, and his smile was really bright. I don't remember much because at that time, I didn't fancy guys who were younger than me (I still don't now but I had a good feeling for him, ok, same with Nozawa Yuki). I don't know how to say, but this kid is really good. He is hilarious, he knows his position and he does thing at his best. He is just that kind of person who knows how to gather the attention and be the center (at least, I'm not sick of seeing his face, yet). I'm kind of falling for him, jk. Coincidence or not, that time I was into Tacchon, he was 22 becoming 23 and this year, Shigeoka is 22 becoming 23. No, no, I'm not going back to the JE fandom anymore.
On a side note, despite Shigeoka's good performance in Shark 2, I reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally dislike Kota, I don't even know if I could support Saku/Kota anymore or should try to put on Kota's shoes to get his selfish act, even though it's better than I thought with the bunch of Jrs like that. Well, it's pretty sad when you want to go for bigger things, you have to make a sacrifice of something/someone has been so dear to you. It's painful to look back but you have to move on. (and if they're going to do a make up like Free!, excuse you, suck it, at least, make an AoKuro).
This probably the time at the age when you just keep repeating "All the things that came together now start falling apart" in your head.
I don't even know what I've been babbling about...
I FORGOT TO MENTION THAT MY RYUTA IS DEAD STUCK BEING A JUNIOR FOREVER. I know he won't ever make a debut at this stage. But, but...
Updated (2/3): finished watching Shark 2 today and I really like the ending, I dislike Kota less (btw, I was so fed up with Kota so I kind of went for Saku/Aruto) because I somehow get his reasons in the beginning of the series. Kota stood in the back to watch Saku reflected the scene in episode 3, when he came to the live and Saku played the ballad version of Sono saki e, this time, Saku played the song he first wrote back then in high school and that made Kota remember his saying, "I love Saku's song the most in the world". Well, even though they parted, Kota always kept watching Saku, cared for him, tried to understand him (I get his action not just want to see how Cloud5 falling apart, but to see how Saku growing up?) not to mention that his eyes were teary when hearing Saku's words and having a flashback of their past, but the one time Saku watched BTS's performance, all of his thoughts was how better BTS than Cloud5, not how Kota doing without him. However, in my defence for Saku, everytime he thought back, there was always Kota in the start of music for him (not really, but yeah, he was), because Kota told him how great his music was, because Kota loved Saku's song the most in the world, because Saku always played his original songs after he made up something in his mind, songs that Kota loved, songs that made their promise.
Even though they're playing for two different bands now, I always have the image of Saku and Kota going out eating together after everything is over. Because this series is about Saku and Kota making up and making out, everyone else gets out.
P/S: seeing Hama-chan like this makes me miss Daichi so muchhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!
