Does it taste especially apple-y or something? O.o I will say that fruit punch in Fiji was the BEST THING EVER. I have yet to try anything that matches it @.@ I think I had a glass almost every meal it was so good XD; The fruits just tasted so differently over there...

Wait, you don't have an oven? o_o

VERY apple-y. Japanese fruit flavors taste much closer to the actual fruit than American fruit flavors. Japanese apple juice is more like drinking one of the various sweet but slightly tart apples that are really popular...instead of drinking apple-seasoned water mixed with corn syrup.

Yeah, we don't have an oven. It's not an essential part of Japanese cooking, so most homes don't have them (also they take up too much space in smaller homes and apartments). Instead, several Japanese homes have toaster ovens or microwaves that have an oven function. Our microwave also has a toaster function, good for making the limpest, sorriest toast ever. They do, however, have stovetops. These also include a small compartment where you can roast some small things like fish or eggplant...but nothing so large as a pork loin or a beef roast. Those are difficult to find at the store, anyway.

But, yes. Baking appears to be out of the question here.

I wish I could try Japanese apple juice then. I never liked how falsely-sweet American apple juice is XP

And I used to use my oven ALL THE TIME, then I went on my new diet and I eat way more fresh items, and less baked. (No baked mac 'n' cheese, no desserts, no all-in-one-dish casserole dinners anymore...) I use my toaster oven a lot though :3 Not sure if I could deal with limp toast XD;;
